This Panel will be lead by Gopal, he will share a perspective on the evolution of Indian ideas about corporate responsibility to community, and will be joined by the other panelists who will share their experiences.

Ravi comes with a total experience of nearly 40 years across a wide spectrum of business functions and industry sectors. Ravi is a commerce graduate, Chartered Accountant, and Cost Accountant with a distinguished academic record. He worked for 18 years in corporates and institutions including stints with Hindustan Unilever Ltd where he held middle-management roles in finance, Congruent Software Inc, a boutique software consulting outfit in Seattle, USA, as Director, Total Environment Building Systems P Ltd, Bangalore, as CFO, and the Indian School of Business, where he held senior leadership roles as Assistant Dean – Business Affairs, and Chief Business Officer, with responsibilities spanning multiple functions in addition to finance at the core.

The rest of the years of his work experience has been as an independent professional and entrepreneur focused on rendering professional services in the areas of accounting, auditing, data processing, financial advisory, merchant banking, stock-broking, business strategy, fundraising, and investor relations, Presently, Ravi is a Partner in an accounting firm, based in Hyderabad, and is an independent director in a few for-profit companies and non-profit organisations.
