Topic: Coaching for a more ethical world

Without exception, every major challenge for our fast-changing world requires moral leadership — leaders who show courage, compassion, curiosity and connected-ness.
A critical competence is the ability to recognise and manage ethical dilemmas with insight and wisdom. It is so easy for coaches to restrict the scope of their practice to the comfortable cycle of client-issue-coach. Yet this is like a school teaching its students to pass exams without developing them as concerned and caring human beings.
The global ethical climate is in part our responsibility as coaches. In this webinar, David Clutterbuck will share tools and approaches that will help us take on these responsibilities, so we can contribute to creating the ethical leaders our world so desperately needs.

David introduced supported mentoring to Europe in early 1980s and co-founded the European Mentoring & Coaching Council. A visiting professor at Henley Business School (Reading University) Sheffield Hallam, Oxford Brookes and York St John Universities; David leads a global network of mentoring experts and trainers.

David has authored 70 books on coaching, mentoring, leadership and other management themes. He holds a reputation for asking “massively difficult questions” that oblige people and organisations to think. He also works with learning and socially disabled children and adults to promote social inclusion and has authored many children’s stories.
